I am using the Aholo IOS APP on the iPhone 16 Plus. If I want to create a 3D Guaissan Splat of a Human Face of a person. Which option from this do I select ?
For a human face, I’d recommend selecting Object mode.
A few tips for the capture:
Try to keep the person’s head as still as possible during the capture.
Avoid talking or changing facial expressions, as movements can affect the reconstruction.
Keep the lighting consistent and avoid strong shadows or reflections.
Move the camera slowly and capture the face from different angles with good overlap.
Just keep in mind that human faces can be a relatively challenging subject for 3DGS reconstruction, so the results may not always be as clean as those of static objects. 😊
