Aholo Editor is your workspace for polishing 3D worlds. You can clean up scanned scenes and use hybrid rendering to place high-quality 3D Mesh models into Gaussian Splatting (3DGS) scenes so virtual and real elements blend naturally.

● Toolbar: Main tools, including Model Library, Annotations, Rescale, Measure, Filters, View, Environment, and Crop.

● Viewport: The main 3D area where you see and edit your scene.

1. Hybrid Mix: Add and manage assets Put virtual Mesh models into your scanned scene.

Add and edit model

● Click the Model Library icon (top toolbar).

● Find models via categories (Furniture, Plants, Decor) or search.

● Drag a model into the scene. Smart snap will place it on the floor or a table to avoid clipping or floating.

● Transform: Select a model and use the three-axis gizmo to move, rotate, or scale.

● Delete: Select an item and click the Delete icon to remove it.

● Visual Boost: Filters and Environment Make the scene more cinematic or realistic. Click Filters/Environment in the top toolbar to open quick controls or the right panel.

Filters (display only, won’t change your original data)

● Exposure: Brighten or darken the scene.

● Contrast: Increase separation between light and dark.

● Color temp & saturation: Adjust cool/warm tones and intensity.

Environment (lighting and background)

● HDRI maps: Switch environments (e.g., Sunset, Studio) to change reflections and lighting on Mesh models.

● Sunlight: Add clear shadows so objects feel grounded.

● Background ;Replace a black background with a solid color to highlight the subject.

Scene Fixes and Cleanup

1 Crop

● Click once to show the floating bar, then choose Crop to remove noise or unwanted areas.

● Drag the box handles around the scene to keep what you need and cut the rest.

● Tip: Use cylinder or box crop shapes—cylinders are great for single objects.

2 Level and align

● Use the gizmo to scale, move, and rotate the whole scene so it lines up with world axes and real size.

● Enter exact angles (°), use the 90° shortcut, or Reset.

3 Camera Controls

● Click the Camera button at the top to switch camera modes or set the current view as the default shot.

● Frame your shot in the viewport and click [Set current view as default] button to save it.

● Click the [Reset View] button to return to the default camera position.

● Switch camera mode (Overhead/Walkthrough): Overhead (god view) is best for layout, measuring, and structure checks. Walkthrough mode is ideal for indoor and outdoor environments.

●  Click the Comment button to add a text comment at any location. Your comment will be saved together with the project.

5 Measure and Auto-Correct:

● Use the ruler to measure real-world dimensions. If a measurement looks incorrect, click Auto-Correct, enter the true value, and all related measurements will update automatically.

6 Filters: Color grading

● These changes affect display only and do not alter the original model data:

● Exposure: Brighten or darken the whole scene to simulate different lighting levels.

● Contrast: Increase the difference between light and dark for a clearer look.

● Color temperature & saturation: Adjust warm/cool tones and color intensity to set the mood.
